I don't think we always know what to say when someone asks us about what we believe and why. Is that fair to say?

I know trying to explain the huge story of God and the part we get to play in this story can feel really daunting. I've struggled to find the words. When I go around the UK meeting students and encourage them to share their faith with their friends, I often find that expressing why it is we have faith and who it is we follow creates a sticking point.

We are charged to give an account for what we believe, no matter whether we feel like it or not (read this in 2 Timothy 4) so I thought I'd give this a go. I sat up late one night and tried to just write out why Jesus is GOOD NEWS to all us humans, and why it is vital to share this with our mates. 

I have recorded what I wrote, in a spoken word poem. Its simple purpose is to encourage every Jesus follower that we can use normal words and find relevant ways to explain the huge story of God. I hope this film reminds you of the good news (the gospel) we have to tell. I also challenge you to share this video on your Facebook wall and twitter. Why not start sharing the good news by literally publicly passing on this story for our mates who don't know Jesus to have the chance to watch too?
