Our friends at Momentum have got a shout out on our blog this week for their  long weekend festival for students... most of the Fusion team will be there, will you?

Busy making plans for the summer? How about setting aside five days over a long-weekend to gather a group of mates, to take a camping trip and to meet with God? Thousands of students and 20/30 something Christians will be heading to Somerset over the August Bank Holiday weekend to do just that! The Momentum conference is a fantastic opportunity to be equipped and encouraged in your faith, to spend some time worshiping God, and to tackle some of life’s big questions.

Every day there are morning and evening meetings where the emphasis is on making space for worship, teaching and ministry. Then there are three seminars slots tackling key topics like how to make the most of uni life, sex, singleness & relationships, church and community, money, poverty, abortion, worship, finding your calling, leadership, discipleship, and sharing the gospel in today’s culture. There are some great venues to enjoy during the afternoons and evenings with live music, sports, films and lots of places to relax with a coffee or a pint. Plus there’s lots of time to hang out with your mates and there will be some relaxed social gatherings to help you meet new people. All in all it’s an amazing opportunity to hang out with thousands of other Christians, to develop and deepen your relationship with God, and to have some fun!
