If you’re a recent graduate with a sense that God might be calling you to work in public policy, advocacy, social justice or politics, but don’t quite know where to start, then read on…

Jubilee Centre has been researching and advocating for biblical social engagement for over 35 years, and we have poured that experience into our 10-month SAGE graduate programme in Cambridge. We’re really excited at the possibilities for Christians to initiate and lead projects that create lasting social transformation, and the SAGE programme provides a practical and theological foundation for that.

The programme is divided into three phases: an intense study period that lays the foundation for biblical thinking across many areas of society; a research phase where participants choose a social issue and research into it from a biblical and practical perspective; then in the third phase they go out on the road with their conclusions to mobilise churches and other groups to respond. For example, this year’s group project is on food, relationships and the environment, and participants
have chosen a personal research project too.

The ‘SAGEites’ live together in community, spend four days a week in the Jubilee Centre office and volunteer with a social project in Cambridge for half a day.
