*REMINDER: Aslan is still on the move!

Yes, we’re in a second lockdown. Yes, 2020 has been a pretty rough year. Yes, "I’m a Celeb" is being filmed in Wales but it’s not all bad. In fact, really good things are still happening all over cities and campuses across the UK.

The number of freshers knocking on your real or virtual Church doors may not have been as high as other years however they are still connecting and student mission is still happening! There’s a guy who strolled along to St Swithin’s in Lincoln in September and was so committed from the get-go that he decided to start serving on the worship team by the second week. Only a few weeks later he brought along his mate who has not stopped joining in since! At their most recent student night, they were going through the 24/7 prayer course and he couldn't get enough - he even asked to join a small group off the back of it!

To add to that this past year they have been praying for more guys to get stuck into their student work after being very heavily female populated and this year that prayer has been answered already.

We know that there is nothing new here - students inviting students to find hope and home in Jesus and through that Jesus transforms their lives.

Let’s be expectant especially in this time for God to be doing what we can’t begin to imagine.

For him to change the student sphere and for thousands to fall on their knees before him. Let’s keep celebrating those wins and let’s keep going in pursuit of the students right on our doorsteps.
