Week 18 - Building confidence in student mission

As Fusion we work with local churches and students, equipping them for mission and increasing confidence. Recently we went surveying with students from St Swithin's in Lincoln.

It was Katie's first time using the survey and despite any initial nerves and awkwardness about approaching strangers to ask questions, she found it to be a great experience. She expressed how it helped her grow in confidence and that she had some really encouraging conversations with people. "Chatting to different people about their worldviews was really interesting to do."

Katie has been wanting to explore evangelism for a while and is something she has felt a calling to, so being able to chat to people about faith was challenging in new ways. She loved how God knew who was going to be there and what conversations were going to happen that day and was encouraged that people were so open to a conversation.

If you want to find out more about how you can get involved with the survey, we'd love to connect, get in touch here.

Every week of the academic year, we are sharing a story of student mission. If you have a story to share, let us know.
