King's Church is a modern, lively and active church committed to loving God and loving people. We are very involved with our local community, serving in response to people's needs. We do this through projects and ministries that we run as a church and by trying to bring the love of Jesus into our families, work/university life and city. We meet together in a large gathering on Sundays and smaller groups in homes throughout the week, as well as having regular events in the church with students and the wider church family.

What do we do for students?

Whether you have a million questions to ask or you are looking for a place to grow and call "home away from home", at King's church we are prepared to give you opportunities to do just that. Moving away from home can be hard and trying at times but it can also be exciting and challenging. At our church we have small groups, student events, church family events and prayer and worship nights that create community and give you a chance to serve outside these four walls as well.

Our student small groups are just that; smaller groups of students who meet once a week, usually at someone's house to hang out, do life together and grow in faith and love of Jesus as a family! They are key in developing long lasting relationships with the people around you, as well as pushing you to grow massively in your faith. Many students have stepped out in faith and invited their non-christian friends to small group, which has led to them hearing about Jesus and coming back week after week to hear more about Jesus and to have their questions answered in a safe and relaxed environment.

Our regular dinners, quizzes and social events help to create further opportunities for us to offer friends an initial taste of church and explore questions about faith in a relaxed and pressure-free setting.

Most importantly, we pray for students and for the student community in this wonderful city where we are living, supporting and equipping students to go out into their battlefields and share Jesus with friends, flatmates or course-mates!

Our Sunday morning services are at 10:30am, and we meet at King's Church on Somers Road at the point where it meets Playfair Road (PO54QA).
Pastries and hot drinks are served before church from 10am onwards, so why not come early, grab a cuppa and some breakfast and say hi to someone new!
