Freedom Church Chester
A bit more...
At Freedom Church Chester, we’re quite an informal lot. You can turn up in jeans and t-shirt, or a shirt and tie (if you must!). It’s up to you. Our aim when we meet together is to focus first and foremost on Jesus. He’s the reason we are a church in the first place. Ordinarily, we’ll begin with songs (worship) and spend time praying together. Then there will be a talk. These talks will be grounded in the Bible and are designed to teach, encourage, and nurture, as well as to explain the message of the Bible.
Our times together are also precisely that – time to be together. We value relationships. We aim to build good, open and honest friendships. One of the ways we like to do this is by eating together whenever we can, but mostly on a Sunday.
What do we do for students?
We love food and feed our students every Sunday after Church in term time for free, and on the first Sunday of the month the Church all eats together too. It’s a great opportunity to get to know people, make friends and get at least one decent meal a week!
