WoodyBap is a lively, charismatic family of believers with members of all ages! Situated in the heart of Cathays, our Sunday morning gatherings are family-like and easy-going in style. Everyone is welcome at 10.30am on Sundays, plus throughout the week for various prayer and worship sessions.

Outside of Sunday mornings we have Student Life Groups, Twenties, and regular Life Groups, where we pray together, grapple with Scripture, and often share food. These gatherings create space for honesty, community, friendship, and praying to see His Kingdom COME. Our regular Life Groups are more informal gatherings, each with a different focus.

We encourage everyone who wants to worship here regularly to get stuck in - there are groups and activities of all kinds as we seek to serve our Lord, reaching the local community of Cathays with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Everyone has a purpose and can contribute to the life and health of the body! By exploring and developing your gifts and skills, you can have a direct impact on the community, build relationships, and, most importantly, pursue God’s will! With elderly luncheon club, Foodbank, parent & toddler sessions, football team, and loads more, there's plenty to do!

What do we do for students?

Student Alpha - using the epic new film series to invite friends and see lives transformed!

Student Life Groups - weekly evening of community, friendship, grappling with scripture, and praying to see His Kingdom COME.

Mentoring - facilitating the eternal flow of wisdom from generation to generation. Available for all our students, mentoring builds relationships with those outside the student bubble who have walked a couple of steps ahead and have some great wisdom to impart. We also organise prayer triplets for everyone interested.

From socials, weekends away, ministry team training, treasure hunts, revision aids (coffee & cakes), student conferences, or if you simply want to get some home cooked food in one of our church family houses - there's something for you. We love the students of Cardiff and we want to bless them for God's glory.
