Oasis Church, Birmingham
A bit more...
At the heart of our community are two key values, simply defined as loving God and loving people. So, out of that, we think that church should feel like home. a place to feel safe, welcomed and accepted; a place that’s fun, messy, real, and where there is always room for others. That’s who we’re trying to be as a community – a bunch of ordinary people who’ve seen how Jesus changes everything, and are giving ourselves to loving God and loving others because of that.
What do we do for students?
We love the fact that Birmingham is the youngest city in Europe, and have a thriving community of Students and 20s who are involved right across the community with times to connect together through meetings and socials, midweek small groups, and serving in all sorts of different areas of church life. We love to help students feel like one of the family, and our name ‘Oasis’, describes who we are and who we want to be – a place of refreshment, growth and connection - whether Birmingham is for you a stop on the journey or a place to stay and build home.

Sundays: In Person and Online from 10:15am for a 10:30am start
Our Sunday gatherings don’t define us as a church, but they are an essential part of Oasis life. There are two main elements: a time of centring on and celebrating in God in worship, and enjoying practical and dynamic teaching from the Bible. These take place each week at our building on South Street, Harborne, starting at 10:30am, and are also being streamed online via our website to enable anyone and everyone to join in.
Visiting a new church for the first time can be a daunting experience, so if you head to our website and hit the ‘Oasis On Demand’ link, you’ll be able to watch the recordings from previous meetings; giving you a chance to try it out, get a sense of what’s going on, and see what you think, all from the comfort of your own home.
