Middlesbrough Citadel Salvation Army

We are a warm and friendly church just a stone's throw from campus.

A bit more...

We are a stone's throw away from Teesside University. We provide a space for students of all faiths and none to relax, and for others to come and connect with Jesus at worship.

As part of the wider Salvation Army, our Corps (Church) works to show the love of Jesus practically within the community and within the world. We have a heart for social justice and take seriously Jesus' command to love God and love others. We care for the student community and have an understanding of issues faced by students. You may see Naomi (One of our ministers) around campus during club mission, handing out sweets and water. Please do come and chat with her...she's really rather friendly!
We're also opening a café on 17th Sept 2019. We'll be open Tues, Wed & Thurs 10am-3pm. Lovely food at very reasonable process. And...free wifi! Come and sit for as long as you want while you study, or come and have lunch with friends.
We'd love to see you!

What do we do for students?

We're working with other churches in the area to create events for students (such as 'taste the nations' international evening and 'carols on campus'.) and we also come into the SU once a term to chat with students and hand out sweets and water. We're a very friendly bunch and you'd be very welcome at our 10.30am service each Sunday.
We also have a resident therapy dog- Brengle the Golden Retriever. He's in the office most days...feel free to pop in for a cuddle!
Feel free to contact Naomi by email if you ever fancy a chat or you want to ask us anything:
