A bit more...

St. George’s Students is a community of young adults between 18-23 where everyone is welcome. We want to be a home for you and see you flourish whilst studying at Uni. Whether you are exploring faith, looking for a church to call home or wanting to come back, we hope to be able to welcome you home.

Come and Join the journey as we seek to play our part in seeing Tyneside ‘Come Alive’. We are a community of friends who believe that God makes us alive in Jesus and calls us to share that life with everyone around us.

See you soon

Revd. Rich & Louise Grant

What do we do for students?

St. George’s is a church on an journey. Come and join in, you can play your part in the transformation of this society. Everyone who joins a team is invested in by other leaders so that not only do you get to play your part, you can grow as a disciple and a leader.

Jen and Connor lead our student work and would love to meet and connect you with lots of other lovely people who can help you feel at home.

Tuesday Night is Student Night. We meet every Tuesday during term time as a Student community. We make time as a whole community for food, worship, prayer, and teaching. We also settle into smaller groups where you can find great friends and talk through life.

The 6. This is our evening gathering that happens each Sunday. It’s home to our student community. Each week we gather together in worship, prayer and to explore the Bible.

We run a free bus service each week to get our students to The 6.

After The Six we make space for food and time to get to know each other. We turn the church into a Student led Cafe space, with live music, pub quizzes, toasties, drinks and lots of laughs. It’s an amazing place to find friends and to be known.
