Severn Vineyard Bristol
A bit more...
We are a diverse student family at Severn drawn from the University of Bristol & UWE. No matter what background, culture or quirks: we love and celebrate vibrancy and distinctiveness. The call on our lives is to stand out in who we were made to be and not be conformed to the patterns of this world.
What do we do for students?
We want to give you a huge welcome! When you arrive we'd love to connect with you over coffee or a walk as we understand that moving away from home for the first time can be a daunting prospect. We'd also like to treat you to a meal as a welcome to the city after church.
There's nothing like a church to help you settle in. It's a great way to make new friends and feel the warmth of not just other students, but several generations of people who call Severn their church.
What to expect?
Every week after church, we love to spend our sabbath together and hang out over food. If it is your first time with us then we want to take up the bill as a welcome to the city.
In all that we do we want to be firmly rooted in Christ as the King of our lives and has set us free. We meet during the week in Small Groups and Triplets to encourage each other to live in His authority and power.
Who are we?
We are a community that enjoys life and passionately worships God! We choose to actively love our Campus and City. Whether that’s giving out water and chatting with ravers on a Friday night; or affirming our housemates in their identity and speaking life over them; or looking out for the homeless and seeing if they need food, drink or prayer.
We want to go deeper into the bible, further into seeing the miraculous become reality and take risks in sharing what we believe.
We want to grow in our identity and live into the knowledge that we are individually, unconditionally loved by God and designed for greatness.

From Sunday 25th September 2022 we'll be meeting after church over lunch. Our Sunday services are in person at the Station and live-streamed on Facebook, starting @ 10am. If you’d like to meet a friendly student to walk to church with, send us a message on Linkup!
We gather on Sunday evenings during the Uni term with students & young adults at Soho Coffee on Queens Road from 6pm right opposite the BU campus. Join us for live acoustic worship, free coffee & cake, a chance to meet other people your age and explore life's biggest questions.
Each term we do one big event adventure, including Cause to Live For in November in Nottingham, and a weekend away in the spring.
