A bit more...
We'd love to welcome you!
We meet on a Sunday at 11am, 4pm and 6pm (more information below), Monday evenings for Alpha and Tuesday and Thursday evenings for home groups
Halfway between Wrexham and Chester in the village of Hope, we are NOT a student church, but if you'd like to mix with the young through to the old, are looking for something a bit more home from home or a place where you can escape from student land, even a place where you can serve (helping with young people etc or do you play an instrument?), then we'd love to make you welcome and have a go at supporting you in your Christian faith during your unforgettable student days...
Our sister church is Emmanuel Church, Penyffordd, CH4 0EZ
with services at 9:30am every Sunday
(The All Age Service is on the 2nd Sunday of the month and begins at 9:45am with coffee and bacon rolls served from 9:30am or earlier if you're here!)
We look forward to meeting you!
Please email if you'd like a lift!
What do we do for students?
In addition to Sundays, on Tuesdays at 7:30pm and Thursdays at 7:45pm we also have two home/life groups, where we as young through to old, read the Bible together, pray for one another and get together for occasional social events. Alternatively if you'd never done Alpha or would like to find out more about the Christian faith then why not Try Alpha? We use the new Alpha Film Series; we begin with food together (no charge) before watching a short film that leads into a good discussion. More information on Alpha can be found at www.alpha.org. Our current Alpha is now well underway, but please do get in touch if you'd like to join our next course in Spring 2019. In order to help people get to know each other well, we limit each course to 12 places.
