We have been present in the community of Old Swan & Stoneycroft for over 100 years. Being the Salvation Army, we are passionate about bringing the good news to those who feel marginalised from society. As well as a service on Sundays we have a toddler group on Mondays, a lunch club for older people on Tuesdays and a bike repair project, which gives skills to people who may be unemployed or who have learning disabilities. We also host an open Christian addiction support group once a month and have links with a Salvation Army homeless hostel just down the road.

What do we do for students?

We don't have any specific groups for students as we only have a small number of students. We invite any students to join our congregation on Sundays and in any groups they can make throughout the week. There are opportunities to join the worship team if you play an instrument/sing.

We are not a 'typical' student church, but if you are looking for an opportunity to get involved in a local church which is passionate about its local community and especially working with marginalised people then do get in touch.
