We are a friendly, vibrant church which is passionate about living out authentic gospel-centred lives in everything we do. We love to worship, study the Word of God and to do life together as we reach out to this amazing city that so needs to experience God's love and grace.

What do we do for students?

We believe that the church is a family and we welcome people of all ages. We want students to come and be part of our family, and particularly welcome you to this amazing city. At Freedom Church, students will find encouragement to grow in all that God has for you.

We have a regular programme of events created specifically for our student community. Our students meet weekly on a Sunday evening for fellowship, worship, prayer and teaching on key issues facing students today. We provide loads of opportunity for socialising and enjoying time together, with lunches after church, fun events such as film nights, crazy golf, bowling, games evenings and comedy nights.
Most importantly, we want our students to be very much part of the church family at Freedom - so we encourage our students to "mix in" with people of all ages, and grow good, deep friendships with a wide range of people.

- LIFE GROUPS
These are our mid-week meetings, based in homes, where we get to eat together, study God's word together and to pray together. They are where we do life as a church family, and people grow in their love for Jesus.

- SUNDAY MORNINGS
Our Sunday mornings are packed full of vibrant, Spirit-led worship and authentic, faithful Bible teaching. They are key times for us as a family, to worship together and minister to one another. We have so many areas that you can get involved in on a Sunday morning - from our worship teams, kids work, set up, or serving tea and coffee!

- MISSION
We regularly go out on the streets of Liverpool to declare the love of God over people, offering prayer as well as refreshments and fellowship. We also run Alpha courses and one-off outreach events.

- SOCIAL ACTION
We run or take part in several areas of social action including our Baby Basics, Someone Cares and Freedom Debt Advice, all of which can be found on our website. We love to see students getting involved in serving in these areas.

- PASTORAL CARE
As a church we are passionate about looking after people and directing them to the loving care of their Father God through whatever issues may arise. This includes our mental health ministry - "Free to Be", which offers support and fellowship for people struggling with mental health issues such as depression and anxiety.

- SOCIAL
We have regular social events - including women's breakfasts, men's meals, craft nights and 6-a-side football on Tuesday evenings.
