A bit more...

As students we are a valued and important part of the church family at SMB. We long to see lives changed as we journey together with King Jesus and we do this through several ways:

We meet together on a Thursday evening for Student Night where we have food, worship, teaching, discussion and fellowship.
We encourage you to come to one of our Sunday services - 10.30am & 6.30pm.
We have a regular lunch together after the morning service.
We encourage you to serve in an area of ministry.

We live out our vision by following these values:

Worship - We long for everything we do to be our passionate, Spirit-filled worship of Jesus with praise and prayer being at the centre.

Welcome - We are a group of students who welcome people from all the nations, backgrounds and walks of life, welcoming others to our church family and being welcomed by them in turn.

Walk - We desire that we would continue to walk every day with Jesus as we go deeper and further in our discipleship. We journey together in our faith with other students and others from the church family as we support and love one another and by sharing honestly as we become more like the King.

Witness - We long to see Christ's transforming power transforming the lives of those around us, at uni, in societies and in our local communities. The main way we do this is through being involved in our CU as we seek to reach out to those on campus.

What do we do for students?

We encourage you to be involved in the whole of family life at SMB including the morning and evening services on a Sunday. We have our student night on a Thursday evening and we have lots of opportunities to get involved.
