SMB Students is all about recruiting an army of students to follow Jesus with the whole of their life. There is no area of ministry and mission in the life of SMB that students can’t get involved in, and no person that they can’t share the good news of Jesus with!

SMB Students is all about raising sons and daughters in lifelong faith. Every year our feedback from students tells us that they’ve loved being hosted by a family, invested in by a mentor, and having fun with others from all ages and stages of life.

SMB Students it’s all about resourcing and releasing kingdom leaders into every sphere of society. You’ll hopefully leave Canterbury with a degree, but we hope you’ll also leave more confident in your identity, more assured of your purpose and more courageous in using your gifts, for His kingdom, with His power, and to His glory.

What do we do for students?

We provide a place and a people for you to meet with Jesus, become more like him, and opportunities to serve and grow, and amongst the church family to become the most Christ-like version of yourself. It's a fun and welcoming place to be.

Sunday mornings at 10.30am, this is a relaxed service with some structure.
6.30pm for our evening service, a time to gather for sung worship, word and ministry.
On Thursday evenings during term time we run Student Night. Typically this will involve SMB Students coming together to worship, delve into the Bible, pray, eat and laugh!
