About us

Here at Silverdale Elim Church our aim is to empower disciples to worship God, change lives and transform communities. We believe that church is more than just services on Sundays. We believe it is engaging with the community, whether it is running football tournaments, delivering meals at home, running computer courses, providing furniture to those in need or even just being there to listen. Our aim is to show God's love in a practical way.

What do we do for students?

We understand that life at uni can be hard sometimes emotionally, spiritually and physically and we aim to be able to support students through this time. Whether it is through prayer, picking them up, feeding them or just being there to listen.
We run MAP- a fortnightly group for students and those aged 18-30. We provide lunch after the church service followed by a series of sessions to help you grow spiritually.
WE also offer you opportunities to serve- whether that be as part of the worship team, children's and youth work or any of our other ministries not only on sunday but during the week too.
