New Street Church - Falmouth
A bit more...
We're a newish Anglican Church plant with a heart to 'Reveal Jesus, Restore Lives and Renew Church'. We offer a genuine and warm welcome to students and we're keen to help you find a church to call home during your time at uni (and maybe beyond!).
We're a multi-generational church, so you'll end up getting to know our youngest members (who are only a few weeks old), our oldest members (one of which is an 80-something jazz-gigging bass player) and everyone in-between.
We believe it's really important for students to quickly find a church to be rooted in during their time at uni. There are some great churches here in Falmouth so even if we're not the right fit for you, we'd still be super keen to chat about some of the other amazing church families that you should try out.
If you do come along to us, you'll find that whilst we're not the biggest church in Falmouth and we don't have the most jam-packed student timetable, we'll quickly get to know you, help you settle in our community and get you going with whatever aspect of church life you love most.
What do we do for students?
We love to connect students with the whole family of church as well as with other students. So there are some things that we do to help you meet, worship and serve alongside a whole mix of people, and other things that are just for students.
We gather together as students fortnightly after the 4pm service during term-time. We usually head back to Sophie & Simon's house (New Street leaders) and share some food together as well as talk about faith stuff and pray. All are welcome to come and there's always plenty of food.
We have some exciting, growing connections with the Christian Union and are also excited to be finding more ways to partner and support the awesome stuff the CU guys do.
As a church we do different events throughout the year that are a great way to connect and feel a part of things. From guys and girls events, social outreach and justice initiatives as well as events together with other churches.
Follow us on social media for updates of events or check out our groups page where we’ll post what we’re doing. Or why not get in touch directly to start a conversation? We’d love to hear from you. Email us at email@example.com
When & Where
All Saints Church
We meet most Sundays for our informal and relaxed afternoon service at 4:00pm at All Saint's Church on Killigrew St.
On the second Sunday of every month instead of our usual service we join with other local churches at 7pm at Emmanuel Baptist Church for a time of worship, word and prayer.
