Redeemer Winchester is a new church, planted in 2019 out of Christ Church Southampton. Our vision is to give everyone in Winchester and the surrounding area the opportunity to encounter Jesus, experience community and be equipped for life. In our Sunday gatherings we sing, we pray, we hear God speak to us from His Word and we share our lives with each other. What do we do for students?
On top of encouraging students to be fully integrated in church life, we run a student programme called Redeemer Students. We meet at 4:15pm on a Sunday evening for hot chocolate and chat, before splitting into smaller groups for Bible study and prayer. In November, the students head away for a weekend to relax together and hear some teaching on a topic of issue. We also offer every student the opportunity to meet one to one with an older Christian in the church to help them live out the Christian life.
