A bit more...

Central Vineyard is a growing church community made up of people from across Northampton and the shire!

Over the coming years we want to serve as many people as we can across our county and one of the ways we aim to do this is by being a church that meets in multiple locations across Northamptonshire, becoming a multi-site church. As a result our goal is to launch new communities of Central Vineyard in at least six new locations by 2024, whilst choosing to remain united as one church.

We see the mission of the church as Joining God in the renewal of all things; for us this begins in our lives and the communities in which we live, work and play. We want to see Northampton; our homes, our workplaces and our local neighbourhoods becoming all that God created and intended them to be. We long for people not just to attend church, but to be the church. Recognising that God has placed within each of us gifts, passions and abilities to see God’s Kingdom come on earth.

Bringing communities to life; our desire is to create a church environment that is both gathered and scattered. As we gather we meet to celebrate all that Jesus is doing in and through us, we are then empowered by the Holy Spirit and scattered to share and show the good news of His Kingdom and bring life to the communities that we are apart. Therefore our church doesn't just exist for itself, it exists to declare the glory and heart of God to the world. Seeing people transformed into passionate followers of Jesus and the places we inhabit thrive.

- We want to help you find your home-from home church.
- We want to invite you to join our mission and our community, not just our services.
- We want to support you and help you develop your own relationship with God.
- We have lots of new students and young adults stuff going on - whether you want to come for student lunch after church on a Sunday, come to Momentum or Cause to Live For with us, you're welcome to come along.

If you need a lift from the university, do be in touch. We'll be coming along to the Christian Union's 'Church Search' events in the first few weeks, so do come and say hi. Doughnuts and coffee provided every Sunday morning ;)

What do we do for students?

One of the best ways to get plugged in is to join a Group. Groups are communities of 8 – 16 people that typically meet in peoples homes. They are the optimal place to grow in relationship with God and with others. Through worship, study, serving and praying together, small group members find mutual support, practical love and encouragement to grow.

Look out this term for our student and 20's based groups.
