St George's Church Leeds
A bit more...
St George's is a busy city centre church in Leeds with two services every Sunday and a midweek programme that includes groups, courses and events. We're here to help people find God and grow in their relationship with him.
We are charismatic - we believe that the Holy Spirit is busy today and we want to get in on the action.
We are evangelical - we believe that the Bible is the authoritative revelation of God and that Jesus is THE way, THE truth and THE life.
We are Anglican - we are training vicars to serve the North of England, we are serving parishes across Leeds and we are training interns to make Jesus known right across Yorkshire.
What do we do for students?
Student Teas, Network in Hyde Park, 18's-30's Sunday evening service, Network in the church centre, help run CU mission week, Network for international students, weekend away, New Wine Inspire, football, mentoring with older people in church, mission events to bring mates to see Jesus, prayer nights, counselling (qualified), give out cake... do we do everything? Maybe.
"We loved you so much that we shared with you, not only the gospel of God but our lives as well."
