Led by Jon and Carly Butler, we are part of the Assemblies of God Great Britain movement. Jon and Carly were commissioned by their sending church, King's Church Portsmouth, to pioneer and plant a church community in the Aberystwyth area.
Jon is an AoG Minister and Chaplain to Aberystwyth Town Football Club.
We enjoy working alongside other churches in the town, reaching out and serving this area of Wales in close partnership with Hope Church Newtown.

We are committed to loving Jesus, knowing His freedom and sharing His freedom.
Our vision is to live out Luke 4:18-21 and see the words of Jesus quoting Isaiah fulfilled here and now.

What do we do for students?

We have a huge heart for students and making them feel at home while at Uni. With a keen focus on hospitality, pretty much everything we do involves food and a warm welcome.
Our mid-week Life Group is a place where students can be part of our church family and feel safe to explore and grow in their faith in Jesus.
We've got socials, including board game nights and a quiz, planned and coming soon.

In October we love to take new and returning students out for a coffee and catch up all together. Date for October 2024 tbc

Sundays we meet at 4pm in Plascrug Primary School in Aberystwyth. With tea & coffee (usually biscuits or cake too), a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, we would love to meet you.
Once a month we meet at 2pm for Messy Church Goes Wild, instead of our usual 4pm gathering. An outdoor event with fun, food and celebration.

We also meet on a midweek evening (Tuesday/Wednesday) in Waunfawr. A normal evening includes food, worship, talking through and applying The Bible with a time of prayer, and fun together.
