We love welcoming students to our church family. Students form a vital part of our community and we want to do all we can to help you make the most of your university years.
University is full of opportunities – to join new clubs, to learn new things, to make new friends. All of these are brilliant. But we’re convinced that the most exciting opportunities at university are actually found in the local church. It is here that we listen to God’s living word together and grow in our love for Jesus. It is here that we learn what life is really all about. We’d love you to join us.
What do we do for students?
There's lots on for students to help you settle, grow and serve!
Student 'Real Food' -
This involves a topical talk, sharing a meal together and digging into the Bible in small groups. 5-8pm every Sunday (except the 1st Sunday of each month).
Mid-Year Conference every February -
We go away for a weekend of fellowship, fun and we also think about a big topic e.g. Relationships, The Cross, Living in Light of The End.
Lunch -
You'll no doubt be regularly invited into people's home after church for meals and games!
'Home from Home' -
There is the opportunity to be 'adopted' by an individual/ couple/ family who adopt you during your time as a student. This may involve going for day trips together, home-cooked meals or even going to see football matches - every 'home from home' is unique.
One-to-ones -
All first year students get the chance to read the Bible with an older Christian too. Our students have found this to be a great time of growth, relationship building and increased confidence reading the Bible for themselves.
Outreach events -
We regularly run Quiz Nights and Campus Bible Talks as events you can invite your friends along to. These are relaxed, well-run events to make it as easy as possible for you to share the gospel.
