About us

We are a charismatic, vibrant, evangelical congregation with people of all ages and from several ethnic backgrounds. We work closely with other churches in town, and through several social projects run in partnership with local authorities, to reach our community with God's love and the good news about Jesus Christ. We value intimate spirit-empowered worship, biblical teaching and grace-filled relationships with God and each other.

If you’re a student, looking to start exploring what God is really about or wanting to go deeper in your already existing faith, then come and join us at King’s Church. We’re a down to earth, vibrant and passionate family seeking to become more and more like Jesus. King’s has a good group of regular students in the family and an even bigger group of friendly, non-student family members, so you’re sure of a warm welcome .

We’d love to help support you in your journey with God whilst here in Loughborough, to see you grow into all that God has called you to be and come to know His plans and purposes for your life. We want to help empower you to reach those around you and absolutely thrive whilst studying here. There are opportunities galore for you to get stuck in with the church family in helping us love God and love our communities.

Interested? Why not come along one Sunday and see what we’re about?
Wherever you are in your journey of faith you’re more than welcome here at Kings.

For any more information, please feel free to contact the King’s Church office on 01509 234234 or using the contact page.

What do we do for students?

Student Meal – students meet together every Thursday, 6:30pm at the Schofield Centre, for free food, games and chat.

Student Pick-up – to help you find your way over to King’s, there is a pick-up from the swimming pool car park on campus to the Schofield Centre for the first 4 Sundays of term at 9:15am.

Sport – some members of the Kings church family meet up each Sunday evening to relax and play sport together. See Andy Brackett (the one with the wonky nose) or Dan Callan (the one always in basketball gear) for more details.

Volunteer opportunities – TwentyTwenty is a charity set up by King’s Church to support disengaged young people. If you want to get involved in volunteering for the charity, see Mike Hughes (the Welsh one) for details. To find out more see the TwentyTwenty website: www.twentytwenty.org.uk
