SOURCE Christian Community is in the Hythe area of Colchester. We are part of the Anglican Parish of New Town and the Hythe.

A bit more...

SOURCE spend their time in the pubs, bars, coffee shops and cafes of the Hythe and sometimes in people's homes. Together we are looking for ways to serve our local area, be involved with local people and support local businesses. We keep an open door, anyone is invited to join us for any of our activities. We have a combination of meetings all together and meeting in small groups. We have regular meals together as well as a number of mission projects in and around the Hythe. Check the website for details of what is happening and when.

If you want a local based church community that lives and breathes the gospel then come and see us.

SOURCE is part of the Anglican Parish of New Town and the Hythe and our Parish Church, St Stephen's is in Canterbury Road and has a welcome for all, look them up on the web: ststephens-colchester.org.uk

Worship is held each Monday evening beginning with a simple meal at 7pm.

We have two meals together each month, one is brunch at the Hythe Station Cafe on a Saturday morning and the other is a shared meal that everyone contributes to on a Monday evening.

We meet once a month in the local wine bar for a drink and a discussion about life and faith issues.

We meet to prayer walk around our area on the last Wednesday evening of the month.

We also run cells, which are small groups where mutual support and discipleship is encouraged as well as some fun and mission projects.
