King's Church Durham
A bit more...
King's Church Durham is a lively, growing Christian community church worshipping at the heart of Durham City and serving the surrounding area.
We are committed to the preaching of Scripture, open to the work of the Holy Spirit and active in mission and service in the local community.
Students from many church backgrounds are involved at Kings. We are traditional in beliefs and contemporary in style, meeting for worship on Sundays and in small midweek groups. Come along one Sunday!
What do we do for students?
Students are an important part of our church family, and university is a fantastic opportunity to grow in your faith, deepen your knowledge of Scripture and your love of God, step out in mission and use the gifts God has given you to serve the church.
As well as joining together with the whole church family on Sundays, students meet midweek in small cell groups and mid-sized cluster groups for bible study, worship, prayer and community.
Alpha on Tuesdays is a great place to bring non Christian friends to enjoy friendly community, great food and a chance to explore the big questions of life. Alpha is great for anyone at any stage of faith and a great way to build a solid foundation for being a Christian at uni.
