We are a church founded by LGBT people in North East England. You are most welcome to join us for Sunday Worship at 6.30pm at St James URC, Northumberland Road, Newcastle upon Tyne. For more information see our website and Facebook page.
P.S. we recently changed our name and some people still call us MCC Newcastle
What do we do for students?
We are based in the centre of Newcastle in-between the two universities and easily accessed by public transport (for those of you living a little further out or perhaps attending some of the local colleges). We try not to limit our acitivities by age group or occupation (i.e. we tend not to do 'student only' events) as many of the older (err chronologically experienced?!) members enjoy the pub, bowling, the beach or eating just as much as the rest of us. You'll be pleased to know that a large proportion of our fellowship time involves food and we are always delighted to have you with us. If you feel nervous about coming for the first time please drop us a message to the email address above, or Facebook or Twitter and our welcome team will keep an eye out or even meet you beforehand.
