Durham Vineyard

Loving God, loving people... Following Jesus in an outward focused family of imperfect people, learning together and encouraging each other.

A bit more...

We're a small Vineyard church, engaging with the community in Durham, working in partnership with other churches on projects like foodbank, StreetLights, and Money advice. We run a weekly drop-in (with foodbank) in one of the poorer communities, providing conversation, games, computers, literacy & numeracy tuition, cooking, foodbank and money advice. We also make lots of toasties and see many answers to prayer! We build further relationships in the community through crafts and fun-days, as well as doing monthly treasure hunts or giveaways, where we see God do exciting things!

What do we do for students?

Our students get involved in all aspects of church life, as timetables allow. They are mentored and encouraged to develop and use their gifts and learn how to serve God in both the church and the community. Small groups provide a great way of building strong relationships with both Jesus and each other.
