Aberdeen Encouragements

New to student mission as a church. Taking risks and breaking new ground. Students already becoming Christians.

This is the story of Aberdeen Vineyard since they connected to Fusion 4 months ago. It is so encouraging to hear and is a great example of what God is doing all over the UK.

I chatted to the church leader, Peter Sturrock, this morning. They used studentlinkup.org to access the list of Jesus-loving freshers who were about to arrive in Aberdeen. They have established a cookery class for international students - who all want to learn to make haggis! They are three weeks into their first Student Alpha course, everyone is loving Jamie Haith, the Spirit of God is moving and a Serbian has become a Christian.

This is just a snapshot of what is happening in one of God's churches. Stories like this are coming out all over the place. What a privilege to watch, encourage and equip the church as its heart starts to beat with God's for this world changing generation.
