The Fusion Gathering last week was a time of celebration—celebrating all that God is doing in student mission—and also a time of preparation for what’s ahead! It was a space to build faith, stir boldness, and get us fired up and ready to go reach the lost.
What’s been amazing to see is how students didn’t wait—they stepped straight out of the conference and into mission. Here are three incredible stories that happened the very day the conference ended:

Marta
“I had the most amazing conversation with a woman on the train. I thought, why not talk to the person next to me? We spent the whole journey talking. She was a flight attendant, and as I asked about faith, she opened up. I shared the gospel and stories of what I’d seen God do—not just this weekend, but at my church too, she was moved to tears. We talked for two hours; it was such an emotional, God-empowered conversation. I prayed for her, and it really resonated. I encouraged her to pray that night—and expect God to meet her.”

Emily
“On the way back, we bumped into a homeless man who gratefully took a New Testament. Then we met a homeless woman—we prayed for healing, and her leg was made well! She was amazed and filled with joy. So were we!”

Austin
“I started chatting to a girl I didn’t know, and the conversation turned to faith. She shared that her brother is close to God, and she longed for that too but didn’t know where to begin since she’d stopped going to church. I remembered I had a ‘Fusion: Get a Free Bible’ sticker on my phone from the conference! I showed her, and she couldn’t believe she could get a free Bible sent straight to her. She scanned it right there—and hopefully will text me when she gets it! Praise the Lord! I posted this story in the student evangelist community chat, and we were able to link her up with students in Southampton, where she’s going to university.”

This generation doesn’t just want to talk about mission as a ‘nice’ concept—they want to live it out.
