The Fusion bedroom stand is setup and working well at New Wine. It will be there for 5 weeks now through Soul Survivor and Momentum.
On the stand, we are chatting to all sorts of people about student mission. Students, school leavers, graduates, parents, youth workers, student workers and church leaders. Across the board, people are waking up to student mission and taking this generation seriously.
Usually the statistics are received with shock. 25,000 christians will start Uni this autumn and about 70% will stop going to church and lose their faith at that juncture. That is horrendous and needs to change.
The good news is, it is changing. Through Fusion's Student Linkup thousands of young people will connect to local churches before they even arrive at Uni. If you know anyone who is starting Uni soon, make sure they register with Student Linkup. It's free and may help them hold on to their faith.
