There is enough food in the world for everyone, but tonight 1 in 8 people will go hungry.
How is it possible that we can send people into space, facetime people on the other side of the planet, but people are still going without enough food?
We have a unique opportunity to stand up and be the generation that sees the starts of the end of world hunger.
In July this year, David Cameron will attend the G8 (a gathering of 8 key leaders from 8 influential world nations), and hunger will be on the agenda. Tearfund and the Rhythms community want to take this opportunity, alongside many other aid agencies, to make our voices heard. We would love the churches and Christian community in the UK leading the fight to see world hunger addressed.
