Everyone needs encouragement to persevere. When walking with my lads I say, “keep going, it’s just round the corner”. God always says this to his people.
We become accustomed to our surroundings and settle for what we can see. We focus on the people in our church and forget about those in our wider community.
Jesus said that with God all things are possible and we are urged to keep our focus on the invisible. (Matt 19:26)

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
