Immigrants

I am an immigrant. I’m not from here. I’m visiting.

I am a Citizen of Heaven with a life passport for Earth. (1 Peter 2:11) If you know Jesus Christ as your King then you are an immigrant too. It means the following:

We eat different food. (John 4: 31-34)

We drink different water. (John 4:13-14)

We follow different rules. (Romans 12:2)

We treat this Earth well as we are guests. (Genesis 1:26-31)

We treat other immigrants as we want to be treated. (Luke 6:37)

We welcome immigrants into our homes - they might be angels! (Hebrews 13:2)

Are you a Citizen of Heaven? Are you an immigrant on Earth? What changes if you think like this?
