So term one of uni is done, Christmas is approaching and you’ve packed up to head home for some festive cheer.
First term is a whirlwind but we hope you found and settled in a church that you love. Now is the time to message your student worker and let them now how your first term has been and if you haven’t already, commit to the church you have chosen on the Student Linkup App. It takes two minutes and sends a notification to your student worker to let them know you’re sticking around. It also will mean that other churches in the area will stop messaging you.
Committing to church is one of the most important things you will do at uni, the community and family it offers will be the support, encouragement and challenge that will make you thrive thought uni life. Its essential that we get stuck into church as soon as we possibly can, and find one that we can call home. No church is perfect, there will always be something you wish was done differently but commit to a church family and get stuck in by serving them - its the best way to meet people and feel like you belong.
