Synnove moved from Norway to study in Lincoln this year. She told us about how she found a uni and a church in England.

I think we can all agree that moving to uni, and a new city, is always scary. I grew up in church and had always had my family around me, but my biggest worry when I was applying for the different universities was “how can I find out where God wants me to be?”, or “how can I find a church that can become my new family?” 

I choose five universities that I would dig into and through a friend; I heard of Student Linkup!

Student Linkup helped me see how many churches the different cities had, where they were located and what they were passionate about. Through Prayer, my family and Student Linkup I decided to go to University of Lincoln, and I have found a wonderful church that inspire me and makes me grow. 

God used Student Linkup to put Lincoln on my heart, and to get plugged into church. Through church, God gives me strength to meet uni life, I learn important things about my faith, I meet people that are passionate about the same things as me, as well as meeting wonderful families that take students under their wings.
