All Fusion team members raise their salary. They are responding to God's call and need a team around them who support, encourage and pray for them. This is not only good for that team member in confirming their calling to the role, it is also the momentum behind the movement and we believe it is also good for you. Will you be part of their team?
I went to University as a newly baptised Christian full of excitement for my new found ‘freedom’. I ended up drifting from my faith, I still went to church, but my heart was split one foot in the world, the other still seeking God. Even in that season, The Lord didn’t give up on me. My student leader at church was incredible. She spoke life and truth over me even when my faith was lukewarm. She came alongside me, discipled me and encouraged me to keep seeking God
After university, we stayed in touch, I was still lukewarm, so she suggested that I try Alpha, and that’s where everything changed. I encountered The Holy Spirit and met Jesus again, but this time it was deeper, personal, and life-transforming. My whole perspective shifted, and I began a journey of healing, freedom, and discovering my identity in Christ.
After spending five years working in the private sector, I’ve felt a clear call to mission and discipleship. I want to use my skills in communications to help students know Jesus and find their place in His kingdom. I truly believe that without my student leader, I wouldn't be where I am today. God really used her as a vessel to bring me home back into a relationship with Him.
That’s why I am so passionate about discipleship and student ministry. University is a transformative time where young people can find or build their relationship with Jesus. The work that Fusion does is integral to helping students connect with the local church. As well as giving local churches the tools they need for student ministry.
This year has seen a dramatic increase in church attendance amongst Gen Z. Students are hungry and are seeking something more than what life currently has to offer. We have a generation who are ready and hungry for God’s word and righteous living. It’s an incredibly exciting time to be part of student ministry, will you join me?
