Convince Me why you should win this award!

The Student Mission Awards are coming in February 2018. What student mission stories have you got to share? Could the Mission Styles 'Convince me' award be yours?

How do we know that Jesus actually existed? Is there evidence that He came back to life?

Is Jesus a scientist? Do we have to chose between God and science? Are ‘experiences’ of God real or made up? How can we know?

I just want to know what is true and what I can rely on!

[A day in the life of a convince me person].

Many of us have questions

Convince me people have specific types of questions; ones that search for evidence, logic and hard-facts. Many of us like to read or discuss from time to time. Convince me people like to take it a bit further; they research, they hunt for facts/knowledge and they debate.

The convince me award is all about celebrating what you’ve been doing to give your logic-minded friends a chance to see the truth about Jesus for themselves.

This can take many different forms...

You may be into apologetics or book-clubs or evangelistic bible studies with people you meet on campus. You may simply walk around with provoking questions to ask that launch people into discussion. Maybe you’ve started chairing the debating society or have sparked off a mini-revival in the science department.

We’d love to hear these stories, as well as all your ideas that we haven’t even thought of!

What have you done to reach the convince me people at your uni?

We want to celebrate your efforts in student mission and reaching people of all different personailities and backgrounds on campus - we want to see your brilliant initiatives replicated!

Go on, convince us why this award’s yours...
