Holiness is about living from a pure heart so that we can function well in a dysfunctional world. Jesus was response-able – he was able to respond appropriately to the situations he faced in life. It’s about becoming the person God wants me to be – someone who routinely and easily does the right thing, in the right way, at the right time. It is attentiveness to the source of our actions, to the condition and motives of the heart, and taking on new patterns of life that flow naturally from within.
