In Loughborough, a group of students have begun interviewing students on campus and in town to kickstart conversations about faith and Jesus.
As a group, they wanted to get active in living out and sharing their faith to provide opportunities for other students to continue in or kick-start a journey with Jesus. By interviewing people and sharing it on their social channel (@lborotruth) they provoke people to think about Christianity. Asking questions like ‘Does God love you?’, ‘Have you ever prayed before?’ ‘Do you think miracles happen today?’. They say the short-form interview just acts as an avenue that often leads to deeper conversations off-camera.
Since beginning this they have been surprised by the openness of students to talk about faith. One of the students also shared that he’d been surprised just how many people already interact with faith in some way or another.
They have had the opportunity to share the gospel, invite students to church, and as a team feel their confidence to talk about Jesus has increased. The team has led one student to Christ and has had other students join them at church.
