The campus in the UK is a mission field that is on the brink of a great awakening. Universities are full of young minds who are spiritually hungry and are seeking purpose, connection, and truth. They yearn to experience the real authentic Christ and read the Bible - not just the Psalms or the gospels but the ENTIRE Bible. At Fusion, we’ve continually been hearing stories of students being awakened to the love of God not because they’ve been invited, but because the Lord has been revealing himself to them through visions, dreams, and scripture. Hence, this year we are giving away a thousand student Bibles for free as a part of our Sow the Word project.
One of the very exciting ideas we had was to feed students’ spiritual curiosity by inviting them to join a spiritual experiment.
Here is where we need YOUR help:
We are looking for 30-50 students with no Christian faith to participate in “Try the Bible” Experiment, reading the Bible every day for the month of February. They would be required to commit to spending roughly 5 minutes everyday for the month of February and reading some different parts of the Bible, in a pre-planned programme. They’ll be able to join a weekly drop in session with a Fusion team member to ask any questions, and or talk about what the Bible is all about. And to make it even more exciting - we’ll even give them a £20 gift voucher for UberEats as a thanks upon completing the programme.
As you may know, the Bible is one of the most sought after books of all time. It’s the most stolen book ever. It’s influenced our culture and hundreds more across the world, it led to the bill of human rights, and is the single most bought book- every year! This is a one of a kind book.
Just imagine the impact the Bible could have on their lives and wellbeing… Some may give their lives to Jesus during this experiment, others curiosity may be sparked.
