The theme is Church Actually - a passion that us and God have in common
In Church Actually we want to bring two vital questions to the exploration of the Church.
Firstly, what actually is the Church? How do scripture, theology and history ask us to view this God-shaped people movement, and how do those views affect how we see her future?
Secondly, where are we actually, as churches, in the 21st century? In a culture that has largely lost interest in us but is increasingly vehement in challenging our long-held beliefs, what hope is there for our effectiveness in mission? Are we in unstoppable decline, as some have claimed, or is there new life yet for this ancient and historic idea?
You’ll find a programme that tackles faith, friendship, study, working life and juggling it all!
Morning - Breakout sessions to talk about the big issues of church and where you fit
Afternoon - Series of seminars about issues you face
Evening - Celebration with worship & teaching designed for students and young adults
