I believe that the time is ripe for a great move of God amongst students.
Students are at a time in their lives when they’re most open to new ideas, asking deep questions and thinking about the meaning of life. This generation especially, is hungry for real purpose and a hopeful vision of life that can overcome the chaos of the world around them. However, most students have yet to find the ultimate hope that is found in Jesus, and the purpose that comes from being a part of his kingdom.
Only 1% of students are involved in church, but 74% would try church if a friend invited them.
We have a huge opportunity to share the good news, and to see what God will do among students in this generation.
I’m incredibly excited to be working with Fusion, and to be part of what God’s doing among students. My role as part of the Coaching Team will mean equipping and training churches, students and student workers to go out and share the good news of Jesus effectively in their own contexts.
