St John's, Ellel

St.John's, Ellel is an Anglican church to the South of Lancaster, within walking distance of campus.
The Vicar is Rev. Craig Abbott who started there in March, 2016. It is a friendly, welcoming congregation of all ages. Services are at 10:30am on Sundays, and we have a spoken Holy Communion at 12pm on Wednesdays. Once a month we hold a 'Messy' congregation in the local primary school on the third Sunday in the month.
We have a Curate, Rev. Ian McGrath, and a Licensed Lay Minister, Di Otto.
What do we do for students?
We are really excited to be at the start of shaping our student ministry. What we do for you will be shaped by the wants and needs of the students that attend our church over the next year or so. We want to equip you for the rest of your life, not just for your university years.
We already offer many opportunities to get stuck in and serve in our church community. It would be great to have you along for the journey ahead of us as we seek to know God more, and share his love with those around us.
