“Our aim is to give all students a place to call home.”
When one church in Nottingham started student-led small groups in October 2021, they had no idea the rate in which they would grow. En route to a Fusion Training Day in November, Naomi, a student in Nottingham, shared how she thought it was time for some of the student small groups to multiply. They had seen growth on a number of levels, including the number of students within them.
“We were driving to the training day and we were talking about how the groups needed to multiply because they were just too big, which is really exciting that God has been moving so much.”
During the most recent Fusion Training Day in February, Naomi shares, “this morning I realised that these small groups need to multiply again!”
“We have small groups scattered around the city to give students a space for community and discipleship. It’s for students and led by students, and our aim is to give all students a place to call home.”
Just 3 months since the last multiplication, Naomi and the student team are planning to multiply again to make room for new students, Christian or not. Naomi shares, “we are just so excited to see where this goes and we really believe fruit is coming!”.
