Seven teams depart tomorrow!
It’s exciting to see our friends from 247 Prayer Netherlands on campus today. They’ve sent 10 teams to #EscapeAndPray. Today in Berlin their team sparked open & honest conversations about prayer & the church, with non-Christians over coffee & lunch.
In Madrid our team met Lorri, a student mission’s worker at the Uni of Madrid with a huge heart for church planting with students. Now back in the UK, that team have had an ace time connecting with churches and praying for the student generation. There have been clear voices from local church leaders excited and passionate to have met & encountered Escape & Pray.
Hot of the runway in Latvia, our team were blessed with speedy hospitality from the Salvation Army and have enjoyed a traditional Latvian feast. Later they took ten steps into a prayer walk and were passed a flyer by Liiga who has a passion for students, mission and discipleship – “a total God moment”.
Yesterday we met with YWAM in Stockolm and Copenhagen yesterday, today it was Bergen:
Meanwhile after landing in Brno, the second largest city in Czech Republic, our team focused on prayer walking campuses clocking up a total of three today. Similarly in Ljubljana, Rich & Joel took a 26,000 step prayer walk across different uni faculties.
It’s been radio silence since a 6am post from our team departing for Kaunus, Lithuania. It's a city with 50,000 students - we're looking forward to seeing how they’ve sought out Kingdom there. In Amsterdam the team have met new friends & prayed for healing.
Last night a team set to depart tomorrow met to pray & listen to God for their as of yet unknown destination.
#PilgrimsNotTourists is definitely becoming a trend. We’re pilgrimaging to bless, serve, encourage and seek first His kingdom.
