"I've rediscovered that it's more life giving to be a pilgrim than a consumer or a tourist" Escape & Pray News Day 7

Today team's landed in:

  • Bordeaux, France
  • Geneva, Switzerland
  • Malaga, Spain
  • Valencia, Spain
  • Valletta, Malta

#PilgrimNotTourist continues to echo throughout our team's adventures:

In Geneva the team were provided with free tickets to travel from the airport into the city centre. After much praying for & blessing others they were still in need of accommodation at 11pm local time, when a local church leader answered their prayers.

In Split, the team prayed for student workers and prayer walked the city. Later once they’d returned home they discovered this fantastic news from a local church – that someone had welcomed Jesus into their heart as a result of meeting the team!

In Alicante our team prayer walked university campuses, and in Barcelona they spent time sharing food, praying and prophesying for their hosts. Erin, a local Christian led them on a prayer walk around a deprived part of the city. She also bought them lunch!

In Vienna, our team enjoyed spending time with local Christian students and were blessed by their hosts. Similarly in Dublin, our team from the Netherlands had a great evening with a local church. In Riga, Latvia Luc’s team ended their terrific time by sharing why they took off on #EscapeAndPray at an 18-30’s gathering.

In Basel, after joining a prayer gathering in a local church the team helped pack 250 bags of food for people in need:

Churches our team's are meeting are becoming part of the net by creating Student Linkup Church Profiles. Check out Crossroads International Church, Amsterdam's new church profile. Another church leader has arranged to meet with the Fusion team when they're in the UK next month.

We're inviting European church leaders & student workers to come to our annual Student Work Conference for free. These invitations are being readily accepted!

The momentum of a move of God amongst church & students continues...
